Echoing all of the other reviews here, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use Asia Links. They are a bunch of fraudsters. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are out of business as I write this. My biggest regret is that I did not do more thorough due diligence on these charlatans and research reviews like the ones below which are sadly all too familiar based on our most recent experience.

I should mention that I never write reviews, but the behavior of this vendor is so egregious, I am compelled to write to protect others from these swindlers.

Last June, we solicited three quotes for our move from Hong Kong to Connecticut, USA. Links (Asia) Moving provided a competitive quote (US$6,000) as well as a promise to get our shipment to the USA in time for the school year. The other providers were not able to do so. Links made us aware that they could not make a full promise given a potential delay that US customs might throw up, but that was going to be a risk no matter what provider we chose.

Packing in Hong Kong in July went fine. Our shipment was on its way and heading to the USA. After continued pushing via e-mail, we received periodic updates about expected arrival dates. Shipment made it to Newark in August and quickly cleared customs. And then the problems started.

All of our items were a 2-hour truck ride away, but Asia Links refused to pay their USA partner, the freight forwarder that they were using. The initial excuses seemed valid, but days turned into weeks and the excuses became more absurd. The phone was never picked up in their office. Seriously, never! Unclear how you can conduct an ongoing business that way!

Weeks turned into months and the communication just completely stopped and after the feeble excuses subsided, their staff simply stopped replying to our emails.

E-mails to their CEO, [name removed by Sirelo], initially seemed promising, but soon followed the familiar refrain of being completely ignored.

Our shipment was in limbo, we were sleeping on air mattresses, and there was no end in sight. Our shipment was effectively held as ransom, we could settle with the freight forwarder (since Links clearly was not going to) or continue to wait. We decided to pay the freight forwarder (who was helpful throughout this arduous process, but they wanted to get paid!). Shipment was scheduled within hours of settling up (for US$2,100) and the staff from the freight forwarder was courteous and efficient.

I have never experienced something like this. In case it was not clear from the above, I would never in a million years recommend this firm or to even work with anyone who was affiliated with this deception.Read more

Links Moving is quick in taking your money. After that, don't expect any follow up, help or customer services. Shipping from Singapore to Germany in 2018 / 2019 turned out as a nightmare. Quote given in Nov 2018, pick up in Dez 2018 with super unprofessional packing team in Singapore. Goods left March 2019 after being kept in a warehouse for three months and finally arrived mind April in Germany Fifteen weeks after the agreed arrival date. We had to pay additional tax for release the personal items, which was not communicated to us on signing the contract. Goods such as a designer chair, piano, bike and architecture models arrived broken. One box never made it. Even as we had paid 650 USD for insurance, and documented the damages during unpacking with the Dutch delivery company, we never got compensation. After reporting the claims to the HK office, [name removed by Sirelo] from HK office promised to take care of the claim. That was the last respond we ever got from Links Moving. The contact partner in Singapore never replied. The HK customer representative never replied. CEO [name removed by Sirelo] never responds to any emails, calls or fax. They fully ghost us with a total damage of 11K USD — no response on email, calls and registered mails. We are now taking legal actions for fraud in Singapore and Hong Kong against this company.Read more

The quote came in quickly; after an analysis of all quotations a decision was made to go with Links Relocation. The packing took place as discussed, but they never took into consideration the items which needed to be called out for quarantine purposes, as paperwork was not shared by the office.
Was informed shipment would leave Hong Kong same day as packing so was shocked when I asked for vessel details to be told the shipment has not yet left the country.
After shipment arrived in New Zealand it is taking longer than expected to undergo quarantine clearance, so it might need to be put in storage since I am in the country for a specific time frame which the movers were aware of before moving. I keep asking the shipping agent for an update to be told it is with quarantine clearance, but that was communicated to me two weeks ago, with a specific day of the week stated. I therefore have no idea where my shipment is or when it can arrive at the delivery address.

I moved from Singapore to the US April 20th and Links collected my furniture and household items on April 18th with my selection of a shared container it was understandable the shipment may take longer. After about 1.5 months the container was full by other peoples items and it shipped, this container arrived in the US at LA and was cleared by US Customs on June 12th and collected by Schumacher Cargo Logistics the company I am assuming Links moving partnered with in the US. After several weeks of no arrangements for delivery to my house I contacted Schumacher cargo and was told that they have not yet received the payements from Links Moving in order to complete the delivery to my residence. I have contacted Links movers multiple times ([name removed by Sirelo] was my move manager at Links also [name removed by Sirelo] was the SG rep) in the past weeks by email directly to [name removed by Sirelo] and other members of Links to enquire when they would make payment to Schumacher cargo to deliver my items. It is now August 3rd and I have yet to get a response from Links and my items still have not been delivered. I paid Links nearly $7,000 for my shipment and may now have to pay Schumacher cargo Logistics myself to have my items delivered. Needless to say Links has done this to several people according to Schumacher Cargo Logistics they have several other peoples items in their warehouse waiting for Links to pay them.

I only found Links Moving as they were a high recommendation by your company and I would suggest your team to look into the moving companies that you recommend as I may now have to pay thousands more to get this resolved based on your recommendations.Read more
